We understand that some employees at Hardchrome feel uncomfortable with the level of surveillance in and around your workplace – we are also uncomfortable with it!
You should feel free and safe at work and you cannot do so whilst being watched so closely by your employer, particular during your unpaid breaks. In particular, we think it is unacceptable to have cameras located within your lunchroom.
Please sign our petition to assist the AMWU as we push for Hardchrome to resolve the issue. All personal information collected will remain confidential, and will not be shared with Hardchrome.
We the undersigned, call on Hardchrome to work with the AMWU to resolve the surveillance issue at work. Privacy during your breaks is not too much to ask for.
We are uncomfortable being watched, particularly on breaks and in our lunchroom.
