Your Union is aware of a recent decision by Hastings Deering to have employees in service areas wear their sleeves down at all times. This decision is a uniform policy dressed up as safety. Your Union has asked the Company to provide better ventilated and lighter weight high vis.
We the undersigned call on Hastings Deering to amend their Trigger Action Response Plan (TARP) to provide more rest pauses for employees required to wear sleeves down in hot weather.
